Tahini in cheese sauce
I think many people underuse tahini while trying to add the perfect creamy texture to their meals. I like using it as a base for sauces and dressings, especially cheese sauce.
Expanding your plant-based palate
Plant-based lifestyle has changed many aspects of my life, including new friendships made through social media, helping me discover my passion for photography and experimenting in the kitchen. It has allowed me to expand my palate and try new foods that I would have never known about.
½ head of cauliflower
½ white onion
2 tbsp miso paste
¼ cup tahini
¼ cup nutritional yeast
Steam carrot, cauliflower and onion until soft. Put in high-speed blender and add remaining ingredients. Blend and add splashes of water or veggie stock until desired consistency. Pour over your favorite pasta. (I used gluten-free quinoa penne.)
