The THRIVE Quick List: Fun, Vegan Eateries in Paris

Instagram: @thrivemags

The plant-based movement is spreading like wildfire here in the city of lights where vegan restaurants are multiplying every year. From the best tiramisu cupcakes you’ve ever had to decadent homemade vegan cheeses, this gorgeous city offers it all. Join us June 2-9 in Paris for our food and eco wellness week. –Maranda Pleasant

Laelo

My personal favorite and near our Paris office. Organic chef-prepared meals and casual gourmet dining. Menu changes daily. The biggest vegan dessert selection you can find and the main courses look like works of art. It is also one of the most affordable options in Paris.

Cloud Cakes

My daily lunch. Cupcakes galore! The best vegan desserts, quiches, soups and turmeric lattes. Get the complete meal offering with a main course, dessert and drink for around $14.

42 Degrees

Stick with the set lunch menu, or you’ll pay a fortune, but it’s so good we can’t stop ourselves. Their vegan cheeses are off the chain. Definitely a splurge, but worth it. Reservations are highly recommended.

Hank Vegan Burger + Pizza

The not-so-secret Parisian favorite. A local hot spot with a kickin’ barbecue burger and spicy fries. They’ve opened Hank Vegan Pizza in Le Marais, which I like even better.

Sol Semilla

We were regulars until their prices skyrocketed, but make sure you try it once and always order the macrobiotic plate of the day. Pure organic goodness with communal seating.

Raw Cakes

Raw dessert heaven. We always take a few for the road.

Café Ginger

A teeny tiny café filled with love and the best lasagna, or you can order the plate of the day. It can get a little steep for casual dining, but that’s Paris.

Brasserie Lola

A vegan French brasserie. Boom. Bistro meets junk food. Pad Thai greasy noodle dishes, vegan ice cream and homemade burgers with fun pricey cocktails. Animal-friendly.

Le Pagalou

Vegan, offering organic raw meals and pressed juice with raw desserts. Plenty of gluten-free dishes and desserts.

La Palanche d’Aulac

A fun vegan Vietnamese cafe.

Le Tricycle

Love this place. Offers hot dogs, bento bowls and super soul food with Jamaican vibes.
