Baked Tofu with Homemade Marinade

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp mustard

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp curry powder

Pinch of salt & black pepper



• Slice the tofu, use a kitchen towel and press firmly on the tofu to soak up the remaining water from it.


• Mix the ingredients of the marinade in one bowl and cornstarch in another.


• Dip the chunks in the marinade and afterward roll them in the cornstarch powder.


• Place them on a baking tray and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 355°F.
