Golden Milk, Beetroot, and Chocolate Lattes

Golden Milk

INGREDIENTS

1 cup oat milk

1 tsp turmeric

1⁄4 tsp cinnamon

1⁄8 tsp ginger, ground

1 pinch of pepper

1 tsp maple syrup

 

METHOD
• Add all ingredients to a saucepan and whisk to combine.
 

• Over medium heat, cook for 5-6 minutes until the spices are dissolved. (Do not boil!)

• Pour into a mug and serve with oat milk foam.

 

Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS
1 cup oat milk
1 tbsp cacao powder
1⁄4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp almond, hazelnut or cashew butter
A rib of your favorite vegan chocolate, chopped
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

METHOD
• Add oat milk to a saucepan over medium heat.

• As soon as the milk is warm, add the cacao powder, cinnamon, nut butter,  vegan chocolate and maple syrup (optional) and whisk until everything has dissolved.

 


• Pour into a mug and serve with oat milk foam or vegan whipped cream, if desired.

 

Pink Beetroot Latte

INGREDIENTS

1 cup oat milk
1 tsp beetroot powder or 2 tbsp beetroot juice
1⁄4 tsp cinnamon
1⁄4 tsp cardamom
1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of pepper
1 tsp agave syrup
 

METHOD
• Add all ingredients to a saucepan and whisk to combine.

• Over medium heat, cook for 2-3 minutes until the spices are dissolved. (Do not boil!)

• Pour into a mug and serve with oat milk foam.
